Tree grafting with Terry Ayres
Sunday, 12 February 2012by Blackdown Hills Transition GroupHits : 11
Very exciting news for Sunday 12th February - Terry Ayers from Dulford
Nurseries is coming back to The Old Pavilion to give a master class in
tree grafting. You will be able to practice yourself - grafting willow
under his watchful eye. I have attached a photo from his tree planting
day in November, to show you that he is very hands on.
The "Open Sundays" start at 10ish when the kettle goes on, then we catch
up with what's been going on, Terry will arrive around 10.30 and do a
'tutorial' for an hour or so. Then we will go and plant some more of his
trees and if you stay and help plant there will be a delicious bowl of
soup.

Places are limited to 20 people so if you would like to come, you need
to go to the website below and send an email there to book a place. As
always it is a free day, but you will need your own sharp knife and
gardening clothes appropriate for the weather - though we will be in the
Old Pavilion for a lot of the session.
